+ Submit your siteMeridian73 is a web directory that lists 833 websites across 22 subject sections. It is modelled on the discipline of a print shop: entries are set into sections by hand, reviewed before publication, and kept free of duplication. The directory is a finding aid, not a search engine.
Yes. Submission to Meridian73 is free and open to any site in good standing. There is no payment required, no reciprocal link arrangement, and no subscription. Use the submission form, choose your section, and supply a brief description.
Sites are organised into 22 named sections, from Wagering & Sporting Broadside and Physician & Apothecary to Software & Computing Chase and Travel & Foreign Parts. Sites that do not fit a named section are placed in The Open Compositor. Within each section, entries appear in order of submission.
Click the Add a site link at the top of any page, fill in the form with your domain, a short title, a brief description, and the section that best fits your content, then submit. The entry will be reviewed and set into the register in due course. You do not need to create an account.
Submissions are reviewed manually before being added to the index. Most entries are reviewed within a few days. You will not receive an automated confirmation, but you can check the relevant section to see whether your entry has been set.
Yes. Use the contact form at the bottom of the page to request a correction or removal, quoting your domain name. Updates are made at the next proof run. Meridian73 aims to keep the index accurate and will remove entries for sites that have closed or substantially changed their content.
Yes. Every submission is reviewed before it is set into the register. Meridian73 does not list sites that exist solely to redirect elsewhere, sites that have no substantive content, or sites that violate applicable law. Decisions on inclusion rest with the directory editors and are not subject to appeal.
Choose the section that most accurately describes the main content of your site. If your site covers more than one subject, choose the section that fits best. If no named section applies, select The Open Compositor. Submissions placed in the wrong section may be moved to the correct one during review.
